【STAGE BEYOND BORDERS】《COSMOS》/ コスモス

由日本國際交流基金會(Japan Foundation)推出的「日本雲端舞台」(STAGE BEYOND BORDERS –Selection of Japanese Performances)，在國際疫情持續當中，嚴選優質的日本舞台劇、舞蹈、傳統藝能等作品線上全版播映，並提供多語字幕，讓世界各地觀眾跨越語言與時空的限制，免費觀賞日本精彩表演藝術作品。 此次與雲劇場合作，精選10部舞蹈作品放映，在表演藝術持續台日友好的情誼。

 

 

關於演出《COSMOS》/ コスモス

 

本作品分為東京藝術劇場製作的付費線上版本，以及由地方城市演出的劇場舞台版本。 一男一女在充滿花木的花園中跳著浪漫的雙人舞，然後鏡頭切換就轉成舞者在無機質的病房中舞蹈。本作品線上版本充分展現「影像特有能夠強制引導觀眾觀看視角的強勢」（當然影像版本中呈現的內容在劇場舞台版本也有演出）。 山田雲將本作品的副標定義為「向2020年致敬」， 當然致敬的對象也包括了新冠疫情，還有因為延期而化做為泡影的2020東京奧運/殘障奧運吧！ 在作品最後，由全體舞者13人帶來近10分鐘的群舞是整個作品的高潮。WONO Satoru所創作的音樂，逐漸轉為明快且充滿希望的調性。 主題《COSMOS》也包含宇宙的意義。舞者們的穿梭，踏步在舞台上描繪出大大小小的漩渦紋樣，如同宇宙中星羅棋布的無數星星，帶著祭典舞蹈的激昂，讓步伐逐漸加速。整個作品以舞蹈連接了地表生存的生命浪潮，展示了人類面對困境時的堅強。

Cosmos was created at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater of Arts as a video work for paid streaming. Live performances were held only outside of Tokyo. From a romantic duo dancing in a garden of trees and flowers to a dance in a sterile hospital room, the work takes full advantage of the nature of video in directing the viewer’s gaze (though what is seen is of course basically being performed on stage).

YAMADA says that this work is partly a tribute to 2020, including the impact of the Covid pandemic and the illusory 2020 Tokyo Olympics/Paralympics.

The ten-minute ensemble danced by all 13 members at the end is a particular highlight. WONO Satoru’s music gradually fills the space with a brighter, lighter, more hopeful sound.

“Cosmos” is another name for the universe. Like countless nebulae spreading across space, the dancers draw large and small vortices on stage as they accelerate with festive elation. Dance connects the swell of life on earth, showing the fundamental strength of humanity to confront its difficulties.
