慧敏和政贤为了庆祝新年从国外回到马来西亚。看到变了许多的家乡，慧敏想起了许多小时候的回忆，所以和男朋友分享了自己幼时和父母之间的故事。

时光追朔到90年代，慧敏是家中独生女，虽然父母对她管教严厉，但是对女儿依然疼爱有加，而生性活泼的她在家中总是父母的开心果。一家人的关系十分融洽，就算吵架，三人之间的关系依然密切，心里不会有隔阂。直到有一天，父亲因意外离世，母女俩成了彼此唯一的依靠。

Hui Min and Zheng Xian return to Malaysia from abroad to celebrate Chinese New Year. Seeing how much her hometown has changed in these few years, Hui Min is reminded of her childhood memories, and she shares her childhood stories with Zheng Xian.

Throwback to the late 90s, Hui Min is the only child in her family. Although her parents are strict in parenting, they loved their daughter and were willing to keep an open mind. Hui Min had a close-knit relationship with her parents. Although sometimes they get upset with each other, never once have they dragged a problem into a serious argument. One day Hui Min’s father passed away in an accident. Since then Hui Min and her mother had to rely on each other for physical and emotional support.

人物介绍

慧敏（女儿）
从小在父母疼爱下长大，个性活泼，是个很有亲和力的女孩。在经历父亲的离世后性格变得稳重，希望自己可以成为妈妈的依靠。

阿玲（妈妈）
贤惠，擅长料理，对丈夫和女儿都很细心呵护。丈夫离世后，一个人担起了养家的重任。和女儿的关系很好，街坊邻居都说比起母女，两人更像是姐妹。

阿雄（爸爸）
看上去很严肃，但实则是个慈父，非常疼爱妻子和女儿。

Hui Min
A Chinese girl in the 90s, Hui Min has a lively personality and is very friendly to people around her. Growing up with loads of love and affection from her parents, losing her father in an accident took a toll on her life. Since then, she has become more mature as she wishes to be able to support her mother both physically and mentally.

Ah Ling
Hui Min's mother, Ah Ling is a compassionate wife and mother. She is a good cook and cares deeply for her family. After the death of her husband, she takes on the task of supporting the family. Ah Ling has a close-knitted relationship with her daughter, and people always mistake them for sisters.

Ah Xiong
Hui Min's father, who looks strict, is actually a loving father. He is really devoted to his family and always puts them first. He never fails to spend quality time with his beloved wife and daughter.
